The Suncadia AI Leadership Retreat is a high-trust, executive-level gathering for leaders who are actively influencing how our region adopts, governs, and benefits from artificial intelligence. This is not a conference and it is not a sales pitch. It is a full-day working retreat built for clarity, alignment, and brave decision-making.
AI is moving faster than most organizations can adapt. In our region, that creates real pressure: workforce readiness, public trust, ethics, policy, education, business competitiveness, and community equity. Many leaders are reacting in isolation, trying to make decisions with partial information and inconsistent guidance. This retreat is designed to change that.
Fourth Gen Labs is convening a small room of people who carry influence and responsibility across Pierce County. The goal is simple: create a shared understanding of what is happening, name what is at risk, and define what responsible AI leadership looks like for our region. You will leave with clearer language, stronger relationships, and a more grounded path forward.
This is for executives, directors, founders, civic leaders, education leaders, and community builders who want to lead with intention, not impulse. If you care about how AI impacts real people, and you are ready to think beyond tools into long-term strategy, you belong in this room.
Locked-Box Conversations
This retreat is intentionally device-free. No laptops, no tablets, no “just checking email,” no quiet scrolling in the corner. Phones will be collected at the start of the day and placed in a separate secured room. They can be accessed only for emergencies.
This rule is not anti-technology. It is pro-focus and pro-trust. When devices are out of reach, we stop performing and start thinking. We listen deeper. We speak more honestly. We make better decisions. The locked-box format creates the kind of presence and psychological safety that real leadership conversations require, especially in a space as complex and sensitive as AI adoption.
Featured Guest: 80 Grit Consulting
80 Grit Consulting will join us for a guest segment that integrates the POUR Framework into what it means to lead in an AI-driven world. It is a leadership lens that brings structure to the internal pressures leaders face when technology moves faster than culture.
The POUR Framework supports leaders in staying grounded and effective by focusing on how we:
Protect what matters
Observe what is real (not assumed)
Unlock better choices and healthier action
Reignite clarity, courage, and purpose
This segment ensures our conversations stay human-centered, values-aligned, and rooted in community voice, not just innovation hype.
