A night of thick smoke trapped whole blocks, and a crowd gathered at The Podium to find air. When sirens stalled, she raised a hand to calm panic. Light gathered like a ribbon, fixed to railings and masts, drawing clean paths between roofs and streets. The first Banner of Light held as people crossed. With the Mic live, turbines woke and an updraft opened clear corridors that cut the smog. From that event forward, she kept the name Mayor V and the duty to build ways out.

A responsive streamer of radiant filament that hardens on command into precise, load-bearing forms: bridges for evacuations, shields against debris, coils that restrain without harm, sails to ride thermals, and nets for midair catches. The Banner mirrors her focus, crisp when composed, fraying when doubt or noise scatters her attention in chaos.

It cannot force belief or obedience, it only strips distortions so choice is cleaner. Useful to cut through the veil, expose hazards, and buy seconds for a decisive build.
