This week, we spoke with Izzy. By day, she is the manager of Richland Hub, a community-focused African specialty coffee shop in downtown Vancouver. By night, she is a musician. She is, in her own words, a "people person." Her entire ecosystem revolves around the "people business"—managing a bustling cafe, networking as an artist, and fostering genuine human connection.

So, when we asked her about AI, she didn't express the typical dystopian fear of the technology itself. Instead, she voiced a specific "hesitancy" regarding what it might do to the perceived value of human effort.
